A Life Anchored in Purpose
About Me: I’m Darren Deal, a seasoned professional with a heart for helping others. Born in 1969, I’ve had the privilege of experiencing life’s joys and challenges. My journey has led me to wear various hats, from family counselor to addiction counseling. Let me share a glimpse of my story:

  1. Education and Expertise:
    • Master’s Degree: I hold a Master’s degree in marriage and family counseling. This educational foundation equips me to understand the complexities of human relationships and guide individuals and families toward healing.
    • CADC II: As a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC II), I specialize in addiction treatment. My passion lies in supporting those on their recovery journey, offering empathy, hope, and evidence-based strategies.
  2. Anchored at Anchored:
    • Currently, I serve as an Addiction Counselor at Anchored. Our mission is to provide a safe harbor for individuals navigating the turbulent waters of addiction. Whether it’s substance abuse, behavioral challenges, or mental health concerns, I stand alongside my clients, helping them find stability and hope.
  3. Family Man:
    • My greatest joy comes from being a father to three wonderful kids and a proud grandparent. Family bonds are my anchor – the source of strength that keeps me grounded.
  4. Faith and Purpose:
    • Above all, my faith in Jesus Christ shapes my worldview. It’s the compass that guides my decisions, fuels my compassion, and inspires me to make a difference. In every counseling session, I seek to reflect His love and grace.

Remember, life is a journey, and each chapter adds depth to our story. As I continue to walk this path, I remain committed to helping others find their own anchors – whether through counseling, faith, or simply a listening ear.
